Two Heavyweight Tees, Two Different Starting Points
Two tees can both say heavyweight and still give you different reasons to choose them. In Road Issue, the Terminal Works Tee uses Cotton Heritage MC1086, while the Atlas Grid Tee uses Comfort Colors 1717. Here is the comparison behind the graphics.
Start with the selected color
Terminal Works is Carbon Grey. That MC1086 color is a blend of 60% cotton and 40% polyester, with a listed fabric weight of 6.5 oz/yd² (220 g/m²). The blank has side seams. Other MC1086 colors can have a different fiber composition, so the selected color matters.
Atlas Grid is Ivory. Its 1717 blank is 100% ring-spun cotton and weighs 6.1 oz/yd² (206.8 g/m²). It is garment-dyed, and Printful describes a relaxed fit. The supplier also notes that dyeing and softening can produce slight differences in color.

Choose the look you will actually wear
Carbon Grey gives Terminal Works a quieter starting point. The black graphic sits close to the garment color, making it an easy candidate for someone who already reaches for dark denim or black bottoms.
Ivory puts more space around the Atlas Grid artwork. The darker lines read clearly against the light shirt. If your current rotation is almost entirely dark, it is a straightforward way to introduce a lighter piece without adding a bright color.
Compare the shirts, not the adjectives
The small difference in listed fabric weight does not settle which shirt you will prefer. Look at the product measurements and the actual outfit you have in mind. Check the length you like with your usual pants and whether you want the tee to show below a hoodie.
When both graphics appeal to you, choose the shirt that adds something useful to what you own. A new color, a different silhouette, or a graphic you enjoy wearing is a clearer reason to buy than the word heavyweight alone.
